Prominently Displayed
So today in South Burlington I saw a man talking on his mobile while making a "right on red" without even stopping. Not unusual in this fast-paced society, really, but prominently displayed on the rear bumper of his car was a sticker, "HANG UP & DRIVE."

PRAY FOR NEW ZEALAND
At least sixty-five people have been killed in a 6.3 magnitude earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is the second earthquake to have hit this city in the last five months. The Guardian has live updates.

Fluoride - Meeting tonight of the Burlington Public Safety Committe
Just a reminder! Tonight the Burlington Public Safety Committee is meeting to discuss two recent recommendations from city bodies to discontinue fluoridation. The Board of Health and a subcommittee of the Public Works Department have both recommended that the city stop water fluoridation.
