GREEN DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE MEETS SUNDAY, 3 FEBRUARY

Green Democratic Alliance will be meeting Sunday, February 3rd at 2:00 P.M. at the Department of Public Works building on 645 Pine Street in Burlington. Members will be voting on candidates to endorse for city councilor in the upcoming Annual City Election. This meeting is open to the public. Read the Agenda here.

    On the GDA:
    Jay has suggested in the past considering other Presidential candidates in this post-Kucinich situation. Specifically, he mentioned McKinney (whom I still think can not be trusted to be honest after her previous actions on her campaign debt), and La Riva.
    Gloria and I have some friends in common and I think that she could be supported as an antiwar alternative. Notwithstanding my differences with, and subsequent expulsion from, her party (the PSL) I would urge that we look into putting her on the Vermont ballot.

    Put who on the ballot?

    Yeah the choices don't look good.

    We will need to decide soon as 1,000 sigs will be needed.
