May Day

Today we remember the Haymarket martyrs and all who have struggled and do struggle for justice, peace, and freedom. Today, we remember especially those unknown, unnamed millions, made in the image and likeness of God. And we recommit ourselves to the struggle of Jesus (just as we do at every offering of the holy mass).

Actions in support of justice for immigrants are occuring throughout the United States. Raise your voice against the war, against torture, against capitalism, against sexism and homophobia, against environmental degredation, and against every other power that corrupts and destroys the creatures of God.

I borrowed the graphic from Anglican Resistance.
