Crème de la Crème!

Your Inner European is French!

Smart and sophisticated.
You have the best of everything - at least, *you* think so.

Although I'm more a coq au vin sorta garçon, as soon as I saw chicken with cream sauce and the choices for a dream car, I knew the end result.

To toujoursdan at Culture choc: Merci bien!

  1. Mine is Dutch. No wonder I have a stmoach ache today. My inner European must be kicking around in there with her wooden shoes on!

  3. Very funny quiz. Amsterdam, eh? How long have you lived here in the states?

  4. Yeah, silly, too, but it keeps me from getting all insanely depressed. LOL.

Came as a 3 month old with my mother to Bronxville NY, where my American mother and Dutch dad had met during the 1939-45 war. I'm a US citizen, but keep in touch with my Dutch roots with frequent trips to family and friends. I feel equally at home in both countries. But most Americans think of NL as just a land of wooden shoes, windmills, Delft Blue and Gouda cheese. NL is much more than that. A'dam has been noted as more ethnically diverse than NYC or London! This summer, I was fortunate to go some programs of NL: a season of Dutch arts in the Berkshires.

Maybe so. But actually, most of my friends and people I know have quite a rosy idea of what the Netherlands is: comparatively progressive socially and of course, legal pot.
My girlfriend (actually fiancee now) and I are contemplating going there for our honeymoon. Any tips?

  6. Hey, I'm Swedish! LOL. For a guy who is mostly of Irish descent, (and 1/4 Italian, also), not sure how accurate this is. But then, Ireland WAS invaded by Vikings way back when, so perhaps this is taking me back to my roots!

BTW, thanks for the kind comments on my blog...I told ya' I'd be back here to visit! (Think I'm going to post my Swedish results on my blog; this could raise some interesting discussions).

  7. My inner European appears to be French too. Hm, I must have done something wrong. I probably shouldn't have ordered the chicken.
