PHOTOS FROM MONTPELIER

Kevin Hurley and I are in Montpelier for the historic vote today on the Marriage Equality Bill. We arrived around 8:45 a.m. this morning. The House is supposed to take up the bill this afternoon.

I am now down in Capitol Grounds Cafe on State Street to get an internet connection. The big yellow and green Equality buttons are visible in and outside the State House. Above are a few photos Kevin took of the well of the House just before the start of today's session; a meeting of gay and lesbian families with an unsupportive governor; and finally a photo of supportive placards outside th Statehouse.
