Today, the Netherlands is orange and red-white-blue. It's the Dutch Fourth of July/14 Juillet. Today is Koninginnedag. In Amsterdam, it's like another Gay Pride or Mardi Gras all rolled into one big celebration of orange! Today's celebration is one of the warmest on record (lekker weer!). The photo on the left shows the arrival of the Queen by boat in the Dutch town of Woudrichem in Brabant! She'll travel later today to 's-Hertogenbosch, the provincial captial.
